4 Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

October 27, 2018

My friends and I decided just this week that we were all going to go home to celebrate Halloween together. I wasn't planning on doing anything if I stayed at school (there's not much going on here on weekends) so that meant I had absolutely no costume planned, versus my best friend who has 4, yes 4 costumes for the holiday.

Que the overwhelming Pinterest search, endless trips to Walmart, Target and discount stores and hours spent stifling through the racks for just the item you were looking for. I think we've all been there with this one, I know I was last year.
To help you all avoid doing that ever again, I've picked out a few of my favorites that you can throw together with items that you either already own or super basic pieces that you're guaranteed to find without searching a bunch of stores and where to get said pieces. While a lot of them are pretty centered around the makeup I made sure it was all simple stuff that had tons of good YouTube tutorials to help you out. I'll even link some of my favorites. Always remember you can amp up or down any part of these costumes to your liking and skill levels.

Deer/Doe

This costume is super easy because it's mostly makeup centered because the outfit is all very basic pieces, which is the key to a last minute costume
Bonus tip: If you don't have time to get antlers do two half "space buns" to make your hair looks like your antlers

Vampire

Dark makeup, red lipstick and an all black outfit =the easiest vampire costume ever. Fake blood and fangs optional

Alien

You can do so much with this. I think this look is adorable but if you don't think you have the skills to tackle it (or pull off purple lips) Try doing your everyday look and just add lots of sparkle or a pop of color. The outfit has so many option too from purple and green to an all holographic outfit and alien shirt or even the aliens from Toy Story if you're doing this with friends.

Boxer

My friends and I actually did this costume last year. You can show as much skin as you feel comfortable for this too. The gloves are optional but I think the braids, the silk robe and the converse are what really make this costume recognizable. Skip the $60 VS robe and get one like this one instead to save some money

Let me know what you're being for Halloween this year down below. If you use any of these ideas, make sure to tag me in your pictures on Instagram (@cuteandclassyblog) so I can see them!
