If you're like me, you're probably working a summer job right now, trying to save your money up for something. Tuition, a new car, an apartment, a new bag and the list goes on. Personally I'm saving up for a Jeep Wrangler.
While a summer job is a great way to rake in some money there are a few ways you can bring in some extra cash to help you reach your goal that much faster without having to miss out on all the fun summer activities.

Apps
I find that discount and rebate apps are the simplest way to make some extra cash. You can get/save some cash doing stuff you already do all the time!
My favorite app to use is Ibotta. This is a rebate app, so you basically just scan the app before you go shopping, make sure you unlock the rebate (usually just clicking a button, sometimes there's a short video) and then scan your receipt if there is anything that you unlocked earlier. They have bonuses you can get by redeeming a certain number of rebates in a given period of time, ad by referring friends. When you refer a friend you both get $10 when they start using the app. Use my code doiroln when you sign up to help a girl out.

Another great app is Groupon. You can get discounts on concerts, at restaurants and events that are happening near you. Not only do you get discounts, but it's also a great way to discover new things on those days you know you want to do something but have no idea what to actually go do. When you use my link you get $10 in Groupon credit.

Tricks
One of my favorite and super easy ways to save money is saving every $5 bill you get. When ever  get a 5 I put it away so that it's not in my wallet, tempting me to spend it. I have only been doing this for a few months, but I have already saved over $200!

Another thing I regularly do is save up all my spare change. Whenever I get home I empty my pockets, bag and car of spare change and put it in a jar. It all adds up really quickly and you don't even really realize your putting money away since the individual amounts are so small!
